Stephanie Roth, M.D.

Dr. Roth is a native born Texan. She has been in practice in the Austin area for the past thirteen years. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, especially pediatrics, and those patients with musculoskeletal problems. She strives to give the type of care that she would want for herself and her family.
Dr. Roth attended college at Tulane University for her freshman year. She then transferred to Baylor University in Waco where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She completed her medical degree in 1994. She decided to do her family medicine internship and residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. She thought she would likely do rural medicine but realized how she missed the atmosphere of city life. It was there in Johnson City, TN she learned she enjoyed the snow, snow sports, and the colors of Autumn. Stephanie had always been an athlete and been competitive which lead her to complete her fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. During her training she served as a team physician for a local high school, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma State University, the Oklahoma Blazers, the Oklahoma Redhawks, and ran a intramural clinic at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Stephanie Roth has served our local community since moving to Round Rock in 1998 as a team physician initially for the Leander Lions and now for the Cedar Park Timberwolves. She has volunteered each year doing sports physicals for Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Austin athletes. Stephanie also spearheaded a community exercise program integrating exercise by example by trying to have physicians in multiple fields exercising with a group of patients. This allowed a feeling of safety, encouragement, and open interaction.
Dr. Roth enjoys dancing (country and western, ballroom, salsa, swing and most recently Zumba), softball, soccer, scuba diving, and photography. Stephanie is hoping to complete her first triathalon in the year 2012.
